Even though Rolex is a non-profit Company it is still a Swiss Corporation and as such does have shareholders like any corporation. ( For instance the Agler family got paid every year until they were bought out.)
The few shareholders get paid their money and after all the other expenses are paid the remainder goes to the trust.
The last time I was able to get some hard figures Rolex had over 9 billion in their ‘charitable’ trust. (The largest charitable trust in Europe.)
Since the financial meltdown I have no idea how their trust was affected. =) maverick
